The students of 1st MSW, as part of their rural camp in Choodahalli village in Anekal Taluk, conducted a baseline survey in the village to identify the major issues being faced by the people there. The collected data were then analysed and presented in the form of a report to the representative of the MLA as well as to the Thasildhar. A copy was also sent to the media. Some of the major problems identified include the absence of proper roads, lack of hospitals nearby, the absence of a high school, to name a few. The media took up the issue and reported on it. It has been noted that positive change is indeed taking place in the village. It is hoped that within a few years from now, more positive changes in the village will be seen as a result of this report and intervention.
