A one day Departmental Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on creating e-content was organised by the Department of Social Work for its faculty members on the 23rd of May, 2020. The programme was conducted over Google Meet. Faculty members were trained by Prof. Viola M. Noronha on how to create video content using OBS and Open shot software on windows. This was followed by a session by Prof. S. Rama Gokula Krishnan on podcast creation and distribution. The session helped faculty members gain an insight into the usefulness of e-content in teaching and learning.

Online viva voce examination for students

The on-going pandemic could not stop the Department of Social Work from ensuring that students had the opportunity to fulfill a part of the course requirements. The Head of the Department, Lt. Akshay D. Mandlik and PG Coordinator, Dr. Alan Godfrey along with other faculty members of the Department organised online field work, rural camp, tribal camp, and research viva voce examinations for BSW and MSW students from the 18^th to the 22^nd of May, 2020. The viva voce examinations took place via Zoom and Google Meet. Externals were informed in advance and provided necessary technical support for this purpose. Students were informed in advance about this as well which ensured the smooth conduct of the online viva voce examinations.
